A dead author’s legacy, the race to finish his last novel
The Star
|April 07, 2026
WHAT would you do if you were a struggling author, invited to a private island owned by the world-famous author Arthur Fletch?
Well, go of course - with a great deal of curiosity as to why you, who have hardly made a dent on the literary scene, were invited. Egos apart, there must be something that tickled the great man’s interest.
Only to find out that the great man himself is dead, leaving agent and editor with an unfinished novel.
That the six authors selected, seven actually because two are writing as one, are being pitted against each other to complete this most anticipated novel of all time. The prize - a game changer book deal and two million dollars.
