Work pals take on 40 miles for Peter

WORK colleagues of a Port Vale fan diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) are tackling a 40-mile fundraising walk as a show of solidarity.

A team from Riello UPS are walking from its head office in Wrexham to Burslem with all proceeds going to the MND Association.

They are raising money in honour of colleague Peter Walthall - who has worked at the business for more than 11 years - after he was diagnosed with MND in December 2024.

The 58-year-old, from Forsbrook, is continuing in his role as project manager for the firm as long as he is able.
