GIFT OF GIVING: A maintenance firm delivered presents to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. VSS Maintenance – which covers North Staffordshire – gave children’s gifts and toys to parents and staff. Contracts director Maria Swierk said: “At VSS Maintenance, we were incredibly proud to visit the children’s ward and have the opportunity to give gifts to the children, as well as to the nurses and doctors, ahead of Christmas. “We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all the hospital staff nurses, doctors, and everyone behind the scenes for the incredible hard work and care you provide every day. Seeing the children’s smiles made this experience truly unforgettable”
