Trusts top the table!

Delight as organisations claim first two positions in rankings

'HIGH PERFORMERS’: The trusts running Harplands and, inset, Haywood hospitals have been named the two best in the country according to new league tables.

TWO NHS trusts running hospitals in Stoke-on-Trent have been named as the best in the country in a new league table.

North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare and Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust (MPFT) are ranked one and two respectively in NHS England’s new league table for non-acute hospital trusts.

North Staffs Combined provides mental health, learning disability, substance misuse and primary care services, including Harplands Hospital and the Darwin Centre.

MPFT provides physical and mental health, learning disability and social care services in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Shropshire. It includes community hospitals such as Haywood Hospital in Burslem and Leek Moorlands.
