TOMAS Rigo has been telling the media at home in Slovakia how much he is enjoying his early days at Stoke City - with the caveat that he is desperate to win games when he gets back.

Tomas points the way after his Slovakia commitments

Rigo has been in Bratislava ahead of a World Cup qualifier against Michael O'Neill and Jamie Donley's Northern Ireland in Belfast tomorrow, followed by a home game against Luxembourg on Monday.

It continues a busy start to the season for the 23-year-old midfielder, who started the summer with Banik Ostrava and tasted Europa Conference League before finally sealing a protracted move to the Potteries, where he has caught the eye in his first five appearances.

“I think the adaptation has been going very well because I won the first game (against Birmingham),” he said.
