BEN Waine has revealed that working on his finishing in the past two months has given him a newfound confidence.
The 24-year-old New Zealand international has three goals in three games for Port Vale who are up against Peterborough United in a crunch League One clash, today.
He will not take for granted the chance he has been given and also reckoned his success in the two cup games went a long way to earning him his place in the league side.
"I wasn't doing anything different but the manager was taking me aside a couple of months back and whether it was five shots, 10 shots or 20 shots, I worked on that every single day," he explained in the club's pre-match press conference.
