Owner tries again to convert former city nightclub and restaurant into apartments
A FORMER Hanley nightclub and restaurant could be turned into flats - if fresh plans are approved.
Developers want to convert the former Crystal Lounge and Luqqa Lounge site, in Brunswick Street, and have submitted proposals to Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
Applicant Cluster Properties wants to create 13 apartments at the property, where the Crystal Lounge nightclub closed several years ago. The top floor Luqqa Lounge restaurant shut its doors about two years ago.
Two separate plans to create seven flats at the site in recent years have previously been refused and withdrawn.
