Lawal and Talovierov among the contenders to replace Tchamadeu

- Peter Smith

MARK Robins is keeping his cards close to his chest as he decides how to replace Junior Tchamadeu.

Stoke will be without him for at least the next four games due to the Africa Cup of Nations, starting with this afternoon's Championship match at Watford (3pm).

Tchamadeu, below, could miss the next three too depending on how far Cameroon progress.

There is no other senior out-and-out right-back but Robins does have options.

Bosun Lawal and Maksym Talovierov are on standby to fill in today (3pm) at Watford while Ben Wilmot has also played in that position previously.

Tyrone Mears and Syd Agina have played right-back for the under-21s.

Robins, below, said: "With Junior there was always an opportunity it was going to happen and it's something we've spoken about and you've written about prior to this month.
