NOT to be confused with the Western film of the same name, The Magnificent Seven relates the story of seven care-home residents, who, in 1994, stage a plan to run away from their place of residence in order to attend the 50th anniversary of D-Day celebrations across the Channel in Normandy.

The play, written by local professional actors and directors, Tim Churchill and Catherine O'Reilly, who also co-directs this production, combines the serious detail of history and war with a light-hearted take on the joys of living and of love.
