Stalker told victim he'd do 1,000 years in jail to be with her

He'd already targeted the woman before

DANGEROUS Conner Dickens has been jailed after he stalked a woman 10 weeks after being released from prison for targeting the same victim.

The 28-year-old bombarded her with more than 135 messages in which he said he would do 1,000 more years (in prison) if he knew he could be with her.

Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard he also made threats to her partner. Now Dickens has been handed an extended sentence of nine years and eight months, made up of four years and eight months custody with an extended licence period of five years.

Prosecutor Claire Harris said that Dickens was jailed for two years in December 2022 after he was convicted of stalking involving fear of violence between June 2019 and December 2022. He served half the sentence and was released on December 21, 2023.

But within 10 weeks he began messaging the same complainant, contacting her 135 times on Facebook.
