PLANS to convert a vacant former industrial unit into a special school have been given the go-ahead.

Endeavour Specialised School Ltd is behind the proposal for the empty workshop on Millbank Street in Longton, right.

Work began in October 2024 but has not been completed resulting in a part retrospective change of use application being submitted to the city council. That application has now been rubber-stamped.
