Pilot aims to have youngsters 'fuelled up and ready to learn' – and save their parents cash
PARENTS with children at six Potteries schools are set to save £450 - as the youngters tuck into a free breakfast.
Two Newcastle borough schools are also taking part as the government introduces free breakfast clubs at schools throughout England.
Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson confirmed the first 750 schools across England that will take part in a pilot promised in Labour's manifesto.
