Predator branded a 'high risk of harm to children'

DANGEROUS predator Glynn Wills has been jailed after he abused two schoolboys.

The 58-year-old indecently assaulted his victims more than 30 years ago when they were children. Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard the offending involved him sexually touching one child's private area and performing a sex act on the other youngster.

Wills was also snared by a paedophile hunter group called Saving Our Children. One of their members posed as a 15-year-old decoy and Wills engaged in a 'highly sexualised' conversation.

Now Wills has been jailed for 13-and-a-half years with an extended licence period of three years. He was made the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and restraining orders which prevent him contacting his victims. Both orders will run indefinitely. And he was placed on the sex offenders' register for life.

The victims of the indecent assaults read impact statements to the court. One said his mental health had been fragile throughout his life as a result of the defendant's actions. He has taken medication for anxiety and depression and has attempted to take his life on more than one occasion.
