Pie-maker has all the ingredients to celebrate centenary

CUSTOMERS will be able to tuck into two new tasty treats as a bakery founded in the Potteries celebrates its centenary.

Wrights has teamed up with Great British Menu star Thom Bateman to create the Centenary Chicken & Leek Pie, which will join a limited edition Caramel Custard Slice in shops this year.

The brand, which was founded in Hanley in 1926, is also promising a packed programme of celebrations, investment and community initiatives. They include new looks for its stores, a new centenary logo, and the Wrights Roadshow, which will see a branded van touring the UK to offer samples.
