Moore targets Vale rewards
The Sentinel
|September 12, 2025
PORT Vale boss Darren Moore says they have had a “really good” full week of work, analysis and reflection.
It has not been the most ideal of starts but a free week with no league or cup game in midweek before Exeter tomorrow has proved fruitful.
Moore explained: “When you consistently play Saturday and Tuesday you don’t really get much chance to work on much. It was really good to get the week in. We've had a solid week. It's been a good week thus far and the group look good.
“I think the biggest thing that you want at this stage is time on the grass. The week allowed us to have time on the grass. It allowed us to reflect and analyse how and where we saw the game on Saturday and where we need to be better in those moments.
“The group is still much the same. The camaraderie is good. We've identified parts of the game where we have to be better, need to be better and will be better and worked on those.
“The bits that we've identified on the pitch is the one v one battles that happen on a Saturday and we call them the duels and making sure that we are winning more of them than we are losing.
