Moore pleased to see Vale spirit in home stalemate

HAVING HIS SAY: Port Vale boss Darren Moore issues instructions during the draw with Wycombe Wanderers.
VALE stopped their three-game losing league run with a hard-fought goalless draw at home to Wycombe.
Darren Moore’s side started brightly but the visitors came back into the game strongly, hit the post twice, and had the majority of chances.
‘The Vale’s task got tougher when they lost wing backs Marvin Johnson and Kyle John through injury but they held on and threatened through Rhys Walters and Devante Cole in an entertaining game.
Darren Moore said: “Credit to the players for the resilience and determination they showed. I just thought we went about our business in a manner that we probably haven’t seen for a couple of weeks.
I thought every single one of them stuck to the game plan.
