Moore feeling Valiants pain after latest home setback

DARREN Moore says his Port Vale players “have to go through moments of pain and suffering” in order to end their winless run.
MISERABLE RUN: Darren Moore's Port Vale side have now gone 10 league games without a win.
(Gerard Austin)
The Port Vale boss has not guided his team to a victory since September 27 and Saturday saw them record their 10th League One game without a win.
Vale haven't scored in their last five home league games either but Moore remains upbeat.
“Yes it was a tight game but it was a game where there was a moment of lapse of concentration in the game and they capitalised on it,” was how Moore explained this latest defeat.
“But it was a game again of two halves where we had the chances to go and score, we didn’t capitalise on them and it was a lapse of concentration that gave them the chance in the second half and they took all three points.”
Asked how he changes it, he answered: “You have to go through those moments in the game, the pain and suffering. You have to go through the moments of the game of getting that first win and holding on to that first win.
