Moore expecting big test as Valiants head across the county...

DARREN Moore believes Port Vale face a stiff test at Burton Albion today in the lunchtime kickoff in front of the Sky TV cameras.
The Valiants have just a point from their opening two League One matches and are looking for their first league win to go with the cup victory they achieved on Tuesday night in Blackpool.
Gary Bowyer's team will be no pushover, though, and Moore said at his pre-match press conference: “They are a really wonderfully-connected team, a hardworking team, and the environment at Burton is a tight environment where the fans are right on top of you.
“And they are a team that has been in a bit of a transition. They have a different approach and identity but one thing that's constant is they are a team that's together, hardworking, with one or two wonderful individuals that can cause problems.
“They are very effective and efficient. We will have to be ready for a tough game and a tough contest. As I said to the boys ‘we are in a great frame of mind going there and in a good position’.”
