Rough sleeper, 50, jailed after 'impulsive' burglary

HOMELESS Cy Podmore broke into a house which was being renovated to steal power tools.

The 50-year-old, who has 40 previous convictions for 91 offences, had been using an outside tap at the home.

But he saw a window was unlocked, entered the property and made off with numerous tools, which cost the owner £800 to replace.

Now Podmore has been jailed for 11 months at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
