Man airlifted after two-car crash on A53

A MAN was airlifted to hospital after two cars collided on the A53.
-
A woman was also taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital following the collision, between Upper Hulme and Flash. Emergency services were sent to the Wickenlow Lane junction just before 2.45pm on Saturday. It is understood the road was closed.
