A NEW £300,000 film and TV office for Staffordshire has been launched to raise the county's profile on the national and international stage.
A celebration event for the new office welcomed more than 120 guests from across the county and beyond. They learned about Screen Staffordshire's purpose, aims and ambitions to make the county a prime location for film and television production.
It will provide a single point of contact for production inquiries - providing information on locations, support, general advice and help speed up applications.
Its purpose is to bring more film and TV to the county - along with the immense number of benefits that follow. Film and TV production also creates an opportunity to generate tourism, which brings in hundreds of millions of pounds a year.
