In running for top awards

The annual event - taking place in London on Sunday April 27 and broadcast in-part live on Sky Sports Football - will see a number of awards presented across the Championship, League One and League Two.

Moore is among the nominees for EFL League Two Manager of the Season, having guided the Valiants to the top of the division at the time of writing, while Jack Shorrock will be hoping to be named EFL League Two Apprentice of the Season.

The news follows recognition for Port Vale Foundation's 'Baby Bank' initiative, which was recently named EFL League Two Community Project of the Season at a special ceremony at the House of Commons.

The programme is a contender for EFL Community Project of the Season, which will also be announced on the night.

Moore enthused: "It's nice to get that recognition and again I share that recognition with us all here at the football club.
