Firm say new manager is already making a positive impact following CQC criticism
A CARE home has once again been ordered to improve after 'lessons had not been learnt' since its previous inspection.
Chesford Grange Care Home in Bentilee was found to be in breach of regulations relating to 'safe care and treatment, safeguarding, good governance, and dignity and respect.
It comes after a recent visit by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who issued the Ubberley Road home - a service providing support to people living with dementia, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and sensory impairments - with an overall rating of 'requires improvement.
This was also the judgement issued by the watchdog when it was last inspected back in 2022.
The service areas under scrutiny during the latest inspection were 'safe, 'caring' and 'well-led. The watchdog deemed both safe and caring service areas to require improvement, while the area of well-led was ruled to be 'inadequate.
