WORKING harder is the key to putting the wrongs right at Port Vale according to manager Darren Moore.
AWAY ASSIGNMENT: Darren Moore takes his Port Vale side to Lincoln City for their latest League One encounter.
The under pressure Valiants manager takes his bottom-of-the-table side to fourth-placed Lincoln City, tomorrow, hoping for a result that will buoy the club.
He also spoke about the players having a meeting of their own volition this week to discuss issues and he says everybody at the club is united in their desire to improve the points total in League One which is just 14 from 17 games.
"I have seen a clear identity in how they have gone about their work," Moore said of his players at the club’s pre-match press conference.
"The volume they have put in, the intensity they have put in, has been really good because usually when you have a poor result at the weekend you have to get back on the training ground.
"The numbers they have put together are really good. It shows their appetite and determination. From a coach’s and manager's point of view that’s always an encouraging sign.”
