Four in court for 'cropping of dog ears'

TWO men and two women have admitted causing the illegal cropping of dog ears.
Charlotte Bailey, aged 29, of Causley Gardens, Bucknall, pleaded guilty to three charges of causing a prohibited procedure to be carried out on a protected animal by cropping the ears on pocket bully dogs. And three charges of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal by failing to provide pain relief following the cropping of dog ears.
