Eccleshall hit the front after securing twin weekend victories

ECCLESHALL seconds sampled double delight at the weekend to move to the top of NSSCL Division Three.

Eccleshall thrashed Hanford on Saturday before making it the perfect couple of days by defeating Bignall End seconds on Sunday.
It was an easy first part of the double header for Eccleshall as they piled up 208-6 from their 40 overs.
Jack Armstrong and Tom Hibbert both made 51, with Chris Le Maistre adding 45 and Deklan Binnington chipping in with 25 not out. Dan Hall and Mohammed Sakandar claimed a couple of wickets apiece.
In reply, Hanford folded to 46 all out, with only Zumar Bin Ali (11) and Dilmon Jacob (10) reaching double figures.
