39-year-old blamed his parents for problems in his life

- Sentinel Reporter

DRUNKEN Lee Talbot threatened his own parents with a meat cleaver - after blaming them for his poor life choices.

The 39-year-old also headbutted his dad after he refused to hand over a lighter.

In a victim impact statement his dad told Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court how he was ‘living in fear’ of his son, and is ‘petrified that one day he'll hurt him’

Now Talbot, of Carlos Place, Bradwell, has been banned from contacting his own father.

Salek Ahmed, prosecuting, said: “The defendant threatened to kill his dad. His mum had tried to break it up. She went and knocked on the neighbour's door for them to contact police.
