A DAD and daughter have been spared jail after attacking a man in a Stoke-on-Trent street.

Darren Greatbach drove to Fenton after receiving a call from his 26-year-old daughter Emma Greatbach who believed she was being followed in her car by a man on an e-scooter.

Darren, aged 57, went to the scene and assaulted the man and Emma joined in.

Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard the victim was left with severe bruising to his face.

Darren Greatbach, of Blurton Road, Blurton, and Emma Greatbach, of Central Drive, Blurton, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm on September 20, 2024.

But a trial of issue was held to determine whether Darren, right, used a pava spray.
