'Comfortable' win sees Eccleshall move to brink of promotion party

ECCLESHALL require just seven points from their final two NSSCL Premier B matches to clinch promotion after a comfortable home win against relegation-threatened Knypersley.
Greg Clark's half-century was instrumental in Eccleshall sticking 230-9 on the board from their 45 overs.
Clark struck nine fours in his 58, with support forthcoming from Connor Beasley's 26, 22 from Andrew Calvert, 23 apiece from Myles Coughlan and Matthew Wright, and contributions of 20 from Chris Plant and Zak Mosam.
Ahmed Abbasi, Jacob Cumberbatch, Dominic Cumberbatch and Cameron Allen all took two wickets for Knype.
