Barriers up at Tesco to stop anti-social yobs

BARRIERS have gone up at a city supermarket blighted by boy racers.

The move at Longton’s Tesco branch comes after dozens of cars had been turning up on what fed-up families claimed was a weekly basis.

Now gates, above, have gone in at the site to shut out vehicles when the store is shut. Officers sent to previous incidents on the car park say there had been ‘loud exhausts, dangerous driving and general nuisance’
