GUV: OUAT's role significant in Odisha achieving agricultural self-reliance

ODISHA Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati lauded the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (QUAT) for its significant contributions to the state's agricultural development, during a comprehensive review held at the university’s academic museum on Wednesday.

Highlighting the university’s central role in advancing self-reliance and sustainable practices in agriculture, the Governor urged scientists and researchers to align their work with Odisha’s broader vision of food security and economic resilience. He called for intensified research in critical sectors like fisheries, poultry, pulses, and oilseeds to ensure the state’s self-sufficiency in essential food resources.
