What's next for Manny?

WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios would like nothing better than to face Manny Pacquiao in a rematch because it's his ticket for another big money fight.

But for Pacquiao, it makes no sense to meet Barrios once more even if he still wears the WBC belt. There are more inviting challenges on the table and fans might not buy the idea of a return bout with so much speculation surrounding the controversial ending.

Barrios seems to be WBC's fair-haired boy lately. He's retained his strap twice in a row despite not winning, escaping with back-to-back draws. Against Abel Ramos, Barrios got up from the canvas and salvaged a split draw in his Texas home state defense last November. Against Pacquiao, he was behind on the three judges' scorecards after nine rounds then as if prompted, the last three frames went to El Azteca who kept the crown on a majority draw.
