A major business is on hand — Game 1 of the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup finals against San Miguel Beer — and the Tropang 5G must attend to it right here, right now.

"You only want to think one game ahead and as of right now, Game 1 is the most important game of our season," TNT guard Jordan Heading said ahead of tonight's 7:30 p.m. finals kickoff at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

"Then it will be Game 2, Game 3, Game 4 and so on," he added. Heading is vocalizing the "disciplined mentality" and "shortened vision" approach that coach Chot Reyes has been preaching to the Governors' Cup and Commissioner's Cup titleholders as they try to annex the All-Filipino plum, which will lead to the rare Grand Slam.

Obstructing the lane to the season treble are the Beermen, who carry their own agenda.
