Stocks, Peso Bounce Back After Successful Ph-US Talks

The local stock market kept its winning streak alive, while the peso recovered against the dollar, as investors cheered indications of more rate cuts from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as well as positive developments on President Marcos' meeting with US President Donald Trump.
The bellwether Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) rose for a fourth consecutive session, surging by 1.68 percent or 106.56 points to close at 6,462.25.
The broader All Shares index followed suit, posting gains of 1.33 percent or 50.15 points to settle at 3,807.35.
