SC Allows Zambales Gubernatorial Aspirant to Run

The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to allow Chito Balintay, a member of the Indigenous Peoples of Zambales, to run for governor in the May 12 elections and include his name in the official ballots.
The office of the SC spokesperson said the high tribunal reversed a Comelec ruling rejecting Balintay's certificate of candidacy.
