The local stock market snapped its four-day climb as investors decided to take profits.

The bellwether Philippine Stock Exchange index fell by 0.68 percent or 43.33 points to settle at 6,364.94.

The broader All Shares index also opened the week in the loss column, declining by 0.27 percent or 10.39 points to end at 3,781.67.
