PPA hit for ‘overpriced’ body-worn camera contract

Sen. Raffy Tulfo has criticized the Philippine Ports Authority for spending P879,000 for each body-worn camera of PPA personnel.
During the Department of Transportation budget briefing yesterday, Tulfo cited a P168-million contract with Boston Home Inc. for the delivery of 191 body-worn cameras, or P879,000 per unit — an amount that he said is way above the P135,000 body worn cameras for members of the Philippine National Police.
