Phl measles cases rising

Cases of measles in the country continue to grow this year compared to 2022, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
In its latest Disease Surveillance Report, the DOH said there were 1,114 measles cases recorded from Jan. 1 to Aug. 19 this year.
The figure is 215 percent higher compared to the 354 cases reported during the same period in 2022.
