Parañaque registers fastest economic expansion in NCR

The city of Parañaque recorded the fastest growth among economies in the National Capital Region (NCR) in 2023.

This was according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in its first-ever report of the Provincial Product Accounts (PPA) of the NCR covering the period from 2018 to 2023.

PSA chief statistical specialist Estrella Vargas said Parañaque's economy grew by 8.7 percent last year from its 2022 level, the fastest among all highly urbanized cities (HUCs) and municipalities in the NCR during the period.
