Over 45,000 jobs are up for grabs for new graduates and other jobseekers from Metro Manila, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reported yesterday.

Sarah Mirasol, DOLE-National Capital Region director, said simultaneous job fairs are being held in various areas in the region.
With the job fairs, the DOLE sees a decline in the unemployment rate and the strengthening of the labor sector.
Mirasol reminded applicants to prepare pre-employment documents, such as their resume, when attending a job fair.
The DOLE will hold the simultaneous job fairs to mark the country's 122nd Labor Day on Wednesday.
