Okada ramping up sustainability push
The Philippine Star
|May 27, 2025
Five-star integrated resort Okada Manila is going greener this year, with plans to enhance its energy efficiency efforts and expand the use of renewable power in its operations.
Okada Manila president and COO Byron Yip said the gaming and leisure hub intends to advance its initiatives in waste management, energy efficiency and water conservation.
These efforts, he said, include scaling up the use of renewable energy and harnessing artificial intelligence to optimize energy consumption.
Okada Manila also plans to increase its single-use plastic recycling efforts, cut food waste and bolster greywater recycling capacity.
"Through focused efforts, we reaffirm our commitment to climate action, social equity and the well-being of future generations," Yip said.
