Magno sworn in as NBI OIC

Angelito Magno has formally assumed leadership of the National Bureau of Investigation as officer-in-charge, following President Marcos’ acceptance of the resignation of former NBI director Jaime Santiago.

Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin administered Magno’s oath of office on Tuesday in Malacañang.
Prior to his appointment, Magno led the NBI regional offices in Central Luzon and Northern Mindanao.
He was also part of the team that oversaw the operation resulting in the arrest of dismissed Bamban mayor Alice Guo in Indonesia on Sept. 4, 2024.
