House prosecutors bent on pursuing VP's impeachment trial

Despite challenges "every step of the way," the House of Representatives is committed to pursuing the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte, the spokesman for the prosecution panel said yesterday.

In an interview with "Storycon" on One News, House prosecution panel spokesman Antonio Bucoy said they are preparing for the possibility of oral arguments for the motion for reconsideration they filed with the Supreme Court (SC).

And in case the high court rejects their appeal on the dismissal of the Articles of Impeachment against Duterte, Bucoy said they expect the filing of another impeachment complaint against her once the one-year bar expires in February.
