COX’S BAZAR
Cox’s Bazar is regarded as one of Bangladesh’s popular tourist destinations. It’s a seaside town, a fishing port, and district headquarters all in one.
It’s known for its beautiful, long, and wide sandy beach, regarded as the world’s longest sea beach (unbroken). The beach spans 120 kilometers with a gentle slope.
THE SUNDARBANS
The Sundarbans is considered one of the largest mangrove forests in the world, spanning about 140,000 ha. It is located in Khulna Division, by the Bay of Bengal.
The area is known for its biodiversity, with diverse mangrove flora and fauna on land and water. It houses numerous bird species, the Royal Bengal tiger, and other endangered animals.
