Yo, everyone! Of course, we want it all — our froyo (frozen yogurt) with all its indulgent toppings and not feel guilty for that indiscreet moment of sweet abandon.

AND NOW, A HEALTH-CONSCIOUS FROYO FOR YOU AND ME

Olé! Yole, the Spanish-born brand of healthy frozen desserts, recently opened its second store in Metro Manila at Robinsons Place Manila, Ermita. Its first store opened only last May at Robinsons Magnolia's Public Eatery.

Did we say healthy desserts? Seldom do we find the words healthy and dessert in the same sentence. At Yole, you'll find healthy and tasty on the same page, but do read on.

Bringing this guilt-free sweet indulgence to the Philippines is Always Hungry Food Group, Inc., founded by friends John Tan, with his wife Deb, and Marc Tio with their mentor Charles Paw in 2025. Yole introduces its innovative offerings: premium dairy frozen yogurt made with fresh milk and zero-dairy ice cream crafted from oat milk. And si, señor, Yole products are made with zero-added sugar, which makes up its slogan.

NO ADDED SUGAR

"It's not sugar-free; rather, it has no added sugar," Deb Tan clarifies. "We don't use artificial sweeteners like aspartame or stevia."

John Tan, CEO of Always Hungry Food, Inc., notes, "Younger people, like the teens and Gen Z, are more health-conscious now — they like to indulge, but they still like it to be healthy. A lot of our different foods today already have a lot of sugar. We don't add more or extra sugar, we just use the natural sugar found in our ingredients, like the fruits which already have natural sugar."

No extra sugar? That's so sweet of Yole, especially for us with sugar issues or those who shrink when they're stoutly reminded: A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips.

There are two options for your Yole, which uses only high-quality ingredients.

1. Frozen yogurt —a low-calorie, healthy and natural product made with cow's milk, fresh yogurt and Yole powder.
