"With extreme sadness, we report the death of 3 OFWs during the flooding in UAE," DMW officer-in-charge Hans Cacdac posted on X, referring to overseas Filipino workers.
Cacdac said two of the victims died of suffocation inside their vehicle that got stalled in the flood while the third died from injuries after his vehicle fell into a sinkhole at the height of the flooding. No other details were given.
