Suri slams power cuts, seeks shelter for homeless during winter

Senior BJP leader Raman Suri on Friday slammed the Jammu and Kashmir government over frequent power cuts amid harsh winter conditions and urged immediate measures to ensure uninterrupted electricity and shelter for homeless and vulnerable people.

Suri said the Meteorological Department has forecast a severe winter, making it imperative for the administration to act with urgency and sensitivity. He expressed concern over poor, beggars and mentally challenged persons sleeping on roads and pavements, calling the situation inhuman and unacceptable.
