Social organizations condemn ceasefire violations
The Northlines
|12 May 2025
Various social organizations led by Kiran Wattal, President of J&K Civil Society, condemned Pakistan’s continued ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) and international border in Jammu and Kashmir.

These violations occurred just hours after a ceasefire agreement and have resulted in casualties and injuries to both civilians and security personnel.
The organizations attribute Pakistan’s provocations to frustration over the Indian security forces’ success in eliminating militants and preventing the infiltration of fresh terrorists into Indian territory. The violations underscore the fragile nature of the ceasefire agreement between the two nations.
