PDD daily wager falls from electric pole, dies in Ang

A 32-year-old daily wager working with the Power Development Department (PDD), lost his life after falling from an electric pole while carrying out repair work in Imoh Achabal area of Anantnag district.
The deceased has been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone, son of Nazir Ahmad Lone, a resident of Hiller Kokernag.
The incident as per officials occurred on Saturday when he was engaged in repairing an electric line in the area. During the course of the work, he fell from the pole and sustained critical injuries, he said.
