The National Sikh Front (NSF) has hailed the unprecedented election of 22 Punjabi-origin Members of Parliament mostly Sikhs—in Canada's April 28 federal elections, calling it a defining moment for the global Sikh diaspora.
At the same time, the NSF expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Singh Sahib Giani Mohan Singh Ji, former Head Granthi of Sri Harmandir Sahib, on May 11.
